Here is an example itinerary we’ve made for you to see just some of the joys of the countryside and the coast, and the things you can expect to see and do during your Safari Stay.
Day 1: Arrive in Tollard Royal
This impressive 18th-century house & garden is one of the most iconic landscapes in the county. A trip to Stourhead is a must for its Palladian mansion filled with Chippendale furniture, fine art and vast sloping woods & parkland dotted with enchanting temples, Iron Age forts and monuments all set around a mirror-like lake offering spectacular views.
Day 2: Tollard Royal > Farnham
Just under an hour from The King John Inn, away in the east lie the gorgeous beaches of Mupe Bay and Arish Mel while to the West are the ancient shingle sands of Middle Beach and the impressive Durdle Door, a striking natural limestone arch on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site near Lulworth in Dorset, England.
Day 3: Farnham > Lymington
Attractions & places to visit are in plentiful supply on the Isle of Wight, with something to suit everyone, including museums, galleries, historic sites recognisable landmarks such as The Needles Rocks and lighthouse. Sandham Gardens is also a great day out for all the family. Find out more from Isle of Wight’s tourism website.
