Kingston Lacy

Kingston Lacy is one for the art lovers

Just 27 minutes away you’ll find Kingston Lacy, an elegant National Trust country mansion with important art collections, set in attractive formal gardens and extensive parkland. Encased in stone by Charles Barry – architect of the Houses of Parliament – Kingston Lacy is home to an outstanding collection of Old Master paintings, with works by Van Dyck, Titian and Brueghel. The Spanish Room, with walls hung in magnificent gilded leather, is well worth the visit any time of year while the wooded parkland offers magnificent snowdrop displays in early spring.
